steve_b_wales
An excellent one, although not cheap, is the N1000. This is an very good IR illuminator, and can reach up to 200 yards.
drut
As above N1000 laser, cost about £120 or +£25 for adjustable power. Not cheap but sell well secondhand for not too much loss.
cooter
If you are looking for just an illuminator and not a laser try the Cobra 150mW unit. I have one which I used for a long time before I bought a laser and it was very good out to sixty yards. A good alternative is an IR filter for your lamp. I used to use a Clulite Blazerlite on the 223 for 200 yards plus. All you needed was the lamp with the fitting for a pop in filter and then a 3mm sheet of IR perspex - about 6 by 8.5" for about £10 from Ebay. Just refurbished an old mini lazer (50 watt) to do the same and it's looking good - don't know how good yet as I've only tried it in the back garden on to some distant trees, but I'm certain it'll more than suffice for LR.
