Great Time Roosting

Hey all. My dad and i went up to one of the smaller woods on the local shoot to do a bit of roost shooting. I decided to take the Sarasqueta 12 bore sbs. (I havnt been able to hit anything with my 20 recently!) Anyway, we got to the wood to find many woddies and crows already pirching in the trees. Now, this is where the evening turned into a good one for me- We cam across a fallen tree that had semi collapsed onto a pheasant feeder. My dad handed me his silver pigeon while he moved the tree. With all the 'opertunities' flying over my head i soon put the sbs on the floor and shut the beretta, ready for some action. My dad didnt seem fussed using the sbs so we spread out in the wood and started banging away. The first few birds where high but then one swooped in. I knocked it down to my suprise. Then, one after another, they kept coming down from all directions! I suprised myslef with the birds i was bringing down. I finished with 6 picked and 1 or 2 pricked that i couldnt find. We met up again and dad only had 1! Haha. It looks like i need to find a second hand silver pigeon! Total bag for me was 6, 3 of which nearly landed on me! one did actually land on my feet! Sorry for the long write up! It was a really enjoyfull evening :)

All but one of the pictures were too big to upload, even when i resized them, its not worth uploading them if they are really, really small!
