I have checked it on the BASC site they are : Brown Hare - 1st February to 30th September Mountain Hare - 1st March to 31st July Nice of our shooting organisations to keep us updated! I hope the Scottish government will been kind enough place an ad in the papers to let us know ! , I only just found out about it from this post , thanks for putting it on , not that it affects me as I only shoot them in the winter .
