missmoreandmaster
Is it true that all cartridge makers now leave out shot for pigeon safty ? or is it that I could not hit a barn door at 5 passes. Today I have proved that I should not go out to the field on the 13th. woke at 5.30am ready by 5.45 the boss (she who must be obayed)didnt feel like going but got ready anyway and off we set , got to the field by 9.30, setup by 10.30 got in the car to move it and promptly droped the ******* thing into a badger hole ( next time I will take the disco not front wheel drive car ) Thank goodness the farmer is a good mate and said he would be with us in about an hour , and he managed to pull b******* out in mins. but this is one of those things that will never be forgotten. We had set up under a sitty/roost tree with a good hide. With tha car where it was for over two hours was not good but when I got back to the hide we both looked forwad to some sport but any pigeon that came into range nither of us could hit a thing. final score pigeons 30(cartridges) missmoreandmaster nil !!!!!!!!!! WGD
First time I lifted a shotgun was at a small and informal clay shoot - more of a social event than anything - and as a youngster I shot 17/25. I'd be pleased with that NOW

Not being rude, but if you can't kill one pigeon from 30 carts, you should go back to practising on the clays.
