David BASC
Wow, there is a question along the lines of ‘how long is a piece of string’ I am in a similar club, but we have 20 members, and probably only about 350 acres, although it’s not over shot by any means, typically I never see anyone else when I am out and about. We pay £40 each per year which between us covered the rent. If no birds are being put down, then the main cost will be rent. Land can go for anything from about £2 per acre per year upwards. There will be a small amount of running costs for a shoot like this such as mailings to members, keys cutting for locks and other bits and bobs, but they will be small beer frankly. Dekers
These questions are always a problem and the details are important. I take exception to anyone paying a landowner to control his Pest issues! Where will that end up?

Big Marty
Round here anything from £50 to £150 depending what your getting for it and how many guns involved

Harnser
600 acres could be turned into a decent little rough shoot . Even if you dont put any birds down you really should feed it . Depends on how much the farmer wants in rent but I would pay up to 200 pounds a year plus feed costs . harnser .
