hi, over the last few days ive been designing and testing a shoot through target for .22lr the object is to get the bullet through a 10mm hole in the middle of the plate which strikes a disc behind and spins the flag up to show its gone through then just shoot the flag down to reset this is great fun and i've gone through about 70 rnds testing them the .22lr rnds simply decintigrate on impact and leave no damage to the steel. im going to be taking some of these to the meet in may for people to play on.

the cost £25 posted. see pics disc size 6mm thick 6" wide

also ive priced up the large multi swingers and there going to be about £45 posted. see pics the discs are 6mm thick and frames are 16mm thick

Wrong bazza the swingers stand up to 17hmr as does the long range discs sets I make. The shoot through sadly it damages the edge of the hole so it's not recommended i shot about 10 rounds of 17hmr at it and it chewed the hole up abit. But .22lr is fine

how easy is it to see the 10mm hole at say 50yrds with them both been fairly dark discs?

i only ask as I've been making similar just a very basic version. i have two 10mm x 5" steel disk which i welded a 5mm stainless stake to and shotblasted at work, its made them look almost galvanized in colour, my next step will be to drill a 15mm hole in one for 50yrds and a 2" hole for 100+ and cover an Argos book in black Gaffa tape as my back stop so i can see the black against the target and hear a clean impact.

no where near as posh as yours though mate they look great.
