il cacciatore
Rezero it then see if it keeps its zero or not. I'm with flash, think you must have bashed it off something when you were fitting it.

pin
It doesn't take much to nock the zero out, especially if the scope mount/rings are not nipped up as they should be (not too tight, obviously). Even with them nipped up a nock or clang can move it. Just re-zero and keep an eye on it. I check my scope fixing every time I clean it, sometimes they do come loose! Other than that there isn't anything else it could be, really. Well, unless you re-fitted the cylnder with a JCB
fulltimeshooter
Thanks but does this happen with anyone else? wen i change the cilinder the wood moves on the gun!
pin
That shouldn't make any difference. The relationship thats important is between the scope and the barrel. This is all speculation because I don't have one, but I doubt that would affect the action (the metal bits that are not the stock or the barrel). Older scopes and damaged scopes are more prone to problems with loosing zero, sometimes even moving from cold to warm environments can cause it. Country_est
Have not removed my resivoir as I can get it out fully with the moderator on, but I do seem to recall somewhere that if you had a second /spare resivoir that the fitting of this "could" alter zero. Now I only vaguely remember this as when I bought the gun I was sharing it with my 2 kids on the target range so was needing to fill more often and was thinking about a spare res but "somebody" warnd me of this Cheers Trev. Mmmm I seem to remember something about this! Get a quick fill adapter and bottle, you will need this if a moderator is fitted

killer rabbit (r1000)
can't see how changing the reservoir would alter zero also, what scope mounts are you using? is it sitting properly on the rail?... ps. you can tighten the forestock by the 2 screws (1 either end underneath)
1 of 5
The main reason swapping cylinders can alter zero is the valving is in the cylinder so in effct you are swapping the firing valve too. Getting two valves to identical power outputs isn't an easy task. My S200 (Mk2) only has one fixing screw at the rear of the forestock. Taking the cylinder out and putting it back shouldn't affect zero in itself.
