Yes, the trigger pills are heavy, (at around 6.5lb), I had mine softened up a bit.

Apparently they're set a bit heavy to avoid litigation from idiots in the States who might shoot their foot off.

Cat.

Ah dumb yankees :/;)

The rest of the gun I like a lot. There is also a sling holder thing on the butt that needs removing.

So the jobs are:

1. Trigger pull down to 4lb -ish - maybe a bit lighter.

2. At the moment 1oz in the butt.

3. Remove and plug the sling holder thing in the butt.

Thanks Cat. I apologise for swearing the other day, must have had a bird banger up my **** that day or similar. :D

Have you tried the Briley weighted mag cap, very nice, adds weight in just the right place, stops the gun from being too whippy, looks good as well..?

Tony Manvell at Wiltshire Rod & Gun sells them.

Here's young Gary (and Floyd), after a little session on the rape:

I've had a Benelli montfeltro for around 5 months now. Really pointable and cycles everything. Put a kickoff pad on it to give it some more length and it feels spot on. They are also a fair bit cheaper than the raff... Maybe worth a luuuke :)

Next time I shall read the thread before I post... There's some irrelevant information for anyone who would like to read haha

No i'd like one though. Do they do one in Black? Had a surf and found this: Wiltshire R&G Couldn't find one?

Nice photo of G&F - thanks.

Iv'e had my M2 since 2007 & it is worked hard in competition using bird buck & slug ammo & its never given me any problems, of course back then they were half the price they are now but even considering that I would buy another without hesitation.

The Supernova is a good gun also & mine was new in 2008 & that too is still running great. :good:

Enjoy your Benelli.

Yep, that's the place, Tony Manvell will sort you out, not sure if they do them in black, you may need a spray tin of matt paint..??!!

One other thing to be aware of, the recoil pad is made of very soft material, extemely easy to damage, I ripped the corner off mine when zipping up the gunslip, careless, yes, but I've never had that happen to any other pad.
