russdy
after posting a topic th other day about a bsa tactical i think im going to give that a miss now and go for either the weihrauch 90/95 or a pcp rifle.was just wondering what advice you may have on either.my budget was around the £200 mark but my go to £250 because im not sure if id b able to pick up a pcp for that price. cheers russ
washerboy
a lot of weight difference between the 95 and the 90, ive owned both. I loved my hw90(was stolen from me ), amazingly accurate, loved different ammo and it wouldnt shoot over the limit even with lightweight pellets so always felt safe using it. the trigger isnt the recard(spelling ),usual hw but is still very good and outshines all but the airarms. I had a leather sling fitted, its a lump of a gun.
bruno22rf
Both are fine rifles that will serve you well, however, both will struggle to give you the same accuracy as a PCP.This does'nt mean that PCP's are inherently more accurate-they are simply easier to shoot and thus make the most of your ability. If you think that Airguns are going to play a major part in your life I would suggest that you hang on and get a S200 in .177.Beg,steal or borrow as much money as you can and buy the best you can-Air Arms S400's can be very reasonably priced because they lack the multi-shot capacity of the S410-but they are still a fantastic rifle that are so good that you will rarely need another shot. What area are you in?there may be a club,or even a member of this forum.that will let you try their gun-a little knowledge is worth its weight in gold (dont believe anything that you read in the Airgun mags-the manufacturer sponcers the mags so you will rarely see a gun criticised,)

secretagentmole
Spend an hour and 10 minutes on the road and get yourself over to Redbeck Air Rifles at Wakefield, some of the best prices on 95s you can get!
sishyplops
pity your so far away got a lovely 95 in .22 up for grabs but i'm in Norfolk, you wont go wrong with an HW, plus if you don't like it you will always get your money back if you buy a nice used one
