Bear68
I want to use a non-FAC air rifle for lamping on foot. Any suggestions as to which torches might be suitable? Thanks, Bear.
steve_b_wales
Take a look at the Clulite MG125, made by Cluson Engineering. This kit will be perfect for your needs. It has a built in battery, so no lugging heavy ones around with leads hanging everywhere. Very powerful light, and filters can be bought for it. It comes with a clamp that will fit all scopes. Steve. Bear68
Thanks, Steve. Looks ideal, and not too expensive either.
steve_b_wales
Don't be put off by the size of the torch, it's very bright. Spare batteries can be bought from Play.com.
Luckyshot
If its just for air rifle ranges you could do worse than buying one of these ultrafire torches. They are good enough for your range and can be had for around £20 ish including spare batterys and charger. below on my cz 22 rf
Bear68
Just been into my local gunshop, which had an LEDray for £56 (there was a more powerful one for about £76). Alternatively, I can order a clulite MG125, which seem to start around £40. Any views on how the two compare would be welcome. I'll also investigate the ultrafires.
