wymberley
Hi to all Im looking for a lamp to go on my .22 rimmy. Any thoughts on this one? Many thanks dave I really rate Clulite products and, just as importantly, their service. However, when it comes to effective beam distance, and in common with some other makers, they do tend to stretch it, shall we say. I'd tend to look for something where 250 yards minimum is the advertised figure. If you are thinking filters, then don't ignore the shootalite. It's neat and quite compact, not too much for a rimfire but will also do for a small centrefire - the mount stays with the lamp which is handy. 30-6
Like said above distances are exaggerated. I have the 125 and the masterlite supreme. I use the 125 on the air rifle and the masterlite on the rimmy. I use a red sweet cellophane wrapper as a filter to help minimise light lost. Be warned though, to use the dimmer functions is fiddly and not the best out there on the masterlite. I specifically bought these for their clamping system. steve_b_wales
An excellent little torch with high power output. I have one, and for the money, and the extra's you get with the kit, it takes some beating. Filters are available, though a bit pricey for what they are. Steve.
