andypaint
Hi, Looking to get some decent tyres for the fourtrak. Its used for lamping, towing logs in fields, greenlaning. They need to look good and be able to balance them ( eg kingpin) was thinking of the kuhmo kl71 or cooper stt. Anyone had these tyres or other recommendations, don't want to spend a fortune either. WelshLamb
maxxis buckshot mudders. theyre not remoulds, are pretty good in the muck and wear well on the road
Dr_evil
Yup I run the Maxxis but they're an MT not an AT, the AT version are called Bravo's
bigmanuk
I just fitted a full set of Cooper Discoverer ATR's on my pickup last month. Done about 2000miles on them now and am impressed. Reasonable price and a good choice for a mixture of standard roads and general off-roading. Tread is very similar to BF Goodrich All Terrains I have a few years back. I was also recommended General Grabber AT's for off road use, but was told they were not the best on the roads, hence the decision to go for the coopers. My tyre size is 245/45/17, paid £500 all in fitted.

BrowningDJC
Another vote for buckshot mudders, cant beat them for the price. My father has a set and i was suprised how quiet they were on the road, and how well they are wearing. Think i will be buying a set for my l200 before winter gets here again. Also try camskill online

andypaint
Hi I'm after 235 75 15 I do like the look of the kuhmo KL71 £86 each cheapest so far. But the coopers get good reviews, Just don't know how they wear or grip on tarmac.
WelshLamb
Kl71 are rubbish on the road. I had a set to save my insas a bit, but they wore out after a few thousand miles. And they're rubbish in the mud!
