Fox calling

Both have their uses. A hand/mouth caller is smaller, a hell of a lot cheaper, and you can even make your own. The Foxpro is more suited to being used in a bait area, where you want the fox to show up. My Foxpro Spitfire has 80 yards remote control range, and the sound can be increased/decreased or paused.

It all depends what you want to do, and how you want to get your foxes.

Foxpro`s have to be the most overpriced bit of kit out there!A load of very ordinary electronics

at an inflated cost imho

They work, but are a pain to use, have limited battery life and are just plain poor value for money !

Most shooting related items have over inflated prices, but, as I cannot make my own electronic caller, at least not as good as the Foxpro, then I am, sometimes reluctantly, prepared to pay these prices.

I don't know what model Foxpro you have, had,or if you even owned one, but mine, the Spitfire, is simplicity in itself. Limited battery life?, well I have a set of 4 'AA' ones in the caller, which are not the dearest make by far, and they are still going strong, after approx 12 hours of use. The one in the handset will last even longer. So,imho, these callers may be 'expensive' to buy, but are well worth the price.
