Remy 700:- Nice to speak to you too, my friend. Thanks for your advice!

I think it was harnser, above who asked if this thing was in proof, so I'm posting a pic of the "proof" marks on the barrel...

Anyone got an idea what they mean please...post-42937-0-50931000-1334932005.jpg

Many thanks.

The furthest right is Def' German - the middle ones appear to be German on the left but I cannot make out the other two - the one far left I have no idea of - there are NO uk proof marks apparent on there though.

Headspace problem. Take the gun back. Its expanding too much and i wouldnt use it any more until they lap the correct bits to tighten it up. I cant imagine the barrel being at fault, but maybe the bolt just has too much play in it.

Hi All, just a brief update with regards to this "gun". After all the advice, I decided to return the thing - safety first and all that.

The RFD was Ok about this, and returned my money less the cost of the ammo I bought. :good:

I think I'm gonna buy a new Browning T-Bolt, once I have my variation through to free up the slot on my license again - once that happens I might be asking for the PW's collective thoughts as to whether I should.... or not!!

I would also like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who helped me with this, all the support both on the open forum, and by PM. It was great to know that I was not on my own! :good:
