semi auto problem

hi all picked up a semi auto today for pigeons its a fabarm euro lion mk11 when i got it home i took it out to have a look put it together and when i pull the lever to open the chamber it doesnt stay back is it something i have done wrong or should i take it back and not shoot it sorry if its a darfted question havent used a auto before :hmm:

not sure about the fabarm, but on the berettas on the underside where the carts go in there is a little switch/clip you just press in, then it will stay open for you, failing that just pull the trigger, not really advised long term, but ok this once untill you sort it out.

Yup - make sure the gun is empty and pull the trigger. Sounds like its "cocked" and ready to go

pulled the trigger but it still wont stay back would it make a differance if it was fired to get the recoil

theres no button on the bottem just the one on the side to close it when cart is in

That's where I got the suggestion from Lol.

I have the same gun what you do is the leaver what goes up and down where your cartridges go in under the gun, you push it back and it clicks then you can cock the gun and pit your cartridge in the side and it stays back.

 

hope you understand what i mean
