Went out this morning to an area i have been baiting and had these three plus a few jackdaws. I have found someone who is willing to buy them off me to sell in a farm shop so i thought i had best try it first! Anyone got any good recipes??

errrrrrrrrrrr your all wrong  surprised you dont eat feral pigeons

whats up fella, you'd be alrate in the jungle, lol. Honestly you need to try it, they made some on river cottage once and took it out in the street for people to try without telling them what it was and everyone loved it.

I eat them when I get them , There not a lot of meat on them for the trouble they cause to skin .

So I just cut it in half , throw the head and shoulders away then peel the skin back on the lower half and stick them in the pressure cooker .

Add to salads and curries . Find them much better than rabbits but very little meat .
