Colonel Goodshot
Good Evening All, I posted a while back suggesting that a Weirauch HW 60J with an 18 inch barrel, LEI Moderator, Bushnell 6500 Elite scope, Warne mounts, Harris bi -pod,was a possible purchase.Since then this has been supplied to me by S and K Stockcraft of Stoney Stratford, service without compromise I will add. The reason I say this is because on the day of delivery a scratch was noted by the Gun Smith and the weapon returned for another... The field results have been excellent, accuracy outstanding, The LEI performs very well, acoustic tests pending against SaK. It was noted on my original post that no more rabbits would be killed using this set up than a cheaper version to which i agree... But the complete set up is a crackin, good lookin rabbit slayin unit, from the minute you pull it from its gun slip its happy happy days. All very very good. This set was worth the extra money because it has given you the YES! factor. That inspires confidence and makes the gun a joy to own. That will be worth a few extra rabbits. You've got a cracking rig. Enjoy it.
markm
Fantastic choice of .17 When your confident of the tool you shoot well, if you miss you know it's you. Most who pass comment have never owned a quality rimfire, you get what you pay for.

Colonel Goodshot
Yeah don't refer to it as a "weapon". Ok I give up.. why not? Im guessing its a pc thing. Gimlet
Have to agree with you. Weapons kill and a sporting rifle is designed to kill game. No two ways about it. Its not a target rifle, its for killing live quarry. Some people like to think of their guns as tools. To me a tool is something you hammer nails in with. I'm guessing you won't be hammering nails in with your Weihrauch. That's what CZs are for. :yp:
Colonel Goodshot
Cheers Gimlet, not just me then, thought Snowblind66 might of had something to add,to be honest I thought it might of stirred up a bit more comment than it did, weapons are weapons, call them guns, firearms, tools, rifles they are all designed to do one thing in the field and that is 'Kill' . Real reason for posting again is a typo in my original message its R and K Stockcraft not S and K.
