Totally depends on the situation really, I don't shoot then on my permision mainly because there's no needs its crops and cows. When they are in urban areas and killing things or lambs in fields then that's different. If the farmer was to have sheep on the land I shoot over, and wanted me to shoot foxes around lambing time I would do this, if I didn't someone else would, its pest control!

i shoot foxes, i shot alot last year and its pretty much the only animal i shoot except for the odd deer and i only shoot the rabbits to keep the permission. but just because it a fox you dont have to make yourselves sound like trigger happy red necks.

Foxes live on channel 4 showing foxes being released into residential areas! One guy caught the fox that had slaughtered all his chickens and handed it over for treatment of its mange then released on the streets of Manchester.

Even RSPCA on talking about how unaggressive they are and that they never attack people.

Crackers

He wont be happy when hes back eating his new chickens and he can check on line to see what TIME he did it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if you post a pic of a fox with a gun you will get so much hate mail sent thru your facebook.

Sorry mate, posting pics of dead foxes that were shot after killing lambs or poultry on FB does not result in hate mail, but then most of my friends are country people that understand the facts of what foxes are capable of.

whats up mate can people not give there opinion......

Folk seem to enjoy doing it saying how nice and fluffy they are. i think the majority of people on this site all agree with each other that they are vermin and they need to be controlled. if we dont speak up and be proud of what we do for our sport and countryside then it will all end up going down the swanny the same way as various other sports have.

i dont really think about anything when i pull the trigger.

but i do admire the fox, it really is a clever animal.

i have to say i'm in agreement with Cockercas, whilst i think they need to be controlled (and i shoot a fair few of the bloody things) i don't follow the "the only good fox is a dead fox" way of thinking and i don't think that face of shooting does us any favours.
