mick miller
I shot with mine well into dusk and beyond last night and the performance was comparable, if not better, than the scopes I have traded. Personally I don't think I'll be selling mine anytime soon as I'm more than happy with the performance so resale value is of little interest to me. I can only recommend that people go, take a look through one, and then make your decision. Edited May 9, 2012 by mick miller
Verminator 66
i've just had a look on their website and read up on the genesis, "precision made in korea" apparently and rrp is £350 ish, i don't have a problem with this if it's a good quality scope, some of the hawkes go for this sort of money, but when it comes to the inevitable resale it'll be worth next to nothing, i'm not currently in the market for glass just yet but i wouldn't mind a looky loo for now, let us all know how you get on with it if you buy one please. cheers, gram. The 2 I have seen go second hand have gone for £300 the work well with all conditions That's why I got them on my C/F + R/F They work good in sunny conditions when we get some sun grate in normal day Good at getting light in at Dusk and Dawn and excellent with Add-on's this is some video with a add-on Edited May 9, 2012 by Verminator

tweedledee
lol.i really rated falcon scopes but the weight was a problem.in all honesty the leupold scopes are half the weight.

Matastrophe
Has anyone had any experience with a Taipan? i know it was the MTC 'flagship' for a while but has obviously now been superseded by the Genesis. They are still available though and are about £100 less, all the reviews i have found seem to like them but i wondered if anyone had any more to say about them? I'm afraid I didn't rate anything MTC before this came along. Although I haven't looked through a Taipan they just weren't my cup of tea. Airgun BBS? jimmyb79
I have a Taipan on my air rifle. It's ok, but does white out in dusk and I find lamping with it is hard work. During day light it's pretty good though, but it seems quite heavy. I'm applying for my FAC currently and was planning to go Leupold or Redfield but may have to check out the Genesis too. Hi I had the 4x16x50 I did like it a lot with the built in sun shade I tough nice touch but I'm not one for open turrets so that put me off a bit when I had it although they do lock up nice and tight plus they are a bit on the heavy side for the size I thought if you are on the move with the gun or free standing
