pin
Got home late from work after a crappy day, drove past a recent permission and it was chocker with crows and some pigeon. Was in two minds, was gone 7 by the time I got in the house. Sod it I said, need some shooting to chill out. Threw the gun in the car, half a dozen shell deeks (forgot the sticks for them) and drove down there. Risked the low slung audi over the rough ground and got set up for about 7.30 Nothing, wind changed direction, moved the hide. Nothing, then 4 or 5 pigeon set and came in, two down. Nothing for a bit, then some crows coming in, nice high shots, 2 crows in the bag. Rained twice, blowing a gale and the light was fading. Got me a nice rabbit on the way out too Finished up with 18 shots fired, 5 crows and 10 pigeon and the rabbit in the bag, only saw about 15 pigeon I could have shot at. Using 32g of Rio Super Game No6's. Very happy with that, and with my shooting which has been shocking of late.

Shot the 50 bird twice and never hit one rabbit in 10 shots :( Still, at least we both did well enough for a bottle of plonk, nice bottle of chardonnay for you in my fridge Farmer out my way has just finnished combining the wheat, give the woodies a few days to build up & we'll get on em Don't forget we need to help the gamekeeper out with the rabbits this week aswell, there's not enough hours in the day, Eh mate Can't wait, any night except tomorrow night works for me
