How do I do this on such a small screw without damaging threads or anything?

I don't wish to insult you, but I think you need to take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

If you start drilling things and get it wrong you could get to a point where you have to take it somewhere to do a major repair that will cost a fortune, and wishing you'd let someone do it for a small fee to begin with.

It's up to you, if you think you can do it then go ahead, but some things are best done by experienced folk.

You may just be talking about taking it to be repaired, really meaning your frend and yourself, but you personaly cannot take the gun anywhere on your own untill you get your SGC, the frend who has it on his licence needs to take it along with there licence

Got the screw out, The metal is so soft its almost like Lead! Springs slightly bent so need another one of those too and hopefully the new screw and spring will do the trick! Also put some of this solution which inhibits rust and converts rust back into metal onto the couple of rust spots.

Right, Rusts all gone, New spring and pin fitted and a new bead fitted. The button now stays in without cartridges BUT comes back out when the bolt slams forward? Maybe the screw needs tightening a bit more but didn't want to risk it. I'll try it with cartridges and see if that helps? Anyway its better than before and may just need tightening. Can anyone tell me how tight there screw is? Is it as tight as it will go or still easy to move? Thanks
