New Permissions

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

New to game shooting, although have been shooting clays for many years. I am keen to learn how to find permissions on which to shoot. Any advice would be greatly recieved, beds, herts or bucks, don't mind the travelling.

Simple. Find pests feeding on land. Find out who owns said land. Ask that person for permission to shoot on that land.

thanks for the replies fellas,

Not Scared of asking! Not afraid of filling up the tank and driving about, only the land owners local to me that I have spoken to alreay have guns on the land - couple have said that perhaps next year etc... But they feel the land is already 'out gunned' as it is.

Guess I need to look further away, no probs.

Just thought that I would ask the question before getting of me *** and cracking on.. but appreciate the input thanks.

Sorry for the boring first post!

Missing a full stop is the least of your problems.

Good luck mate, plenty good advice there. My last perm coming from driving past a farm and seen the farmer who was no spring chicken trying to knock down a wall to his cattle shed. A quick hand shake and hello had his wall down within an hour or so and bobs your uncle as many crows as I can shake a stick at!

If you can offer any service what so ever can help get ya in the door, fruggle bunch farmers and a bit of free labour goes a long way. But I will only help if they get the ginger nuts out and a mug of tea lol.
