The dove and the fact that it is a lightwieght suggests it was made for the US where dove shooting is popular and they do like lightweight fast handling guns for them. Probably sold through one of the US mail order outlets although I do not recognise AK but AK is the abreviation for Alaska so it might be something like AK Stores.
