gixer1
Folks, I have a BT home hub and the last couple of days it just seems really slow, I put a speed test app on my iPhone and check it with that now and again and you can see by the last 2 tests it's gone to nearly 0mb/s in the last few days, shoul I just call BT or is there anything I can do before joining a long telephone que.... I have tried reseting the router with the reset but but it made no difference...

guest1957
I had this all the time with BT in London. They claimed nothing wrong. I'll be going elsewhere next time
39TDS
I live in the sticks and have this **** all the time. Things to do are reset the router, swap the filters on the line, plug the router into the master socket. (take cover off main/first socket, you will see another socket inside, using this disconnects any extensions) If you ring them up they will tell you to do these things anyway. Sometimes the line resets itself after a few days and all is well again. Noisy lines will cause it, is your phone crackling? After all that ring them up and complain. Or do what I have done and buy a mobile broadband dongle for the times it just drives you mad.

It's a bit faster but still not up to the usual paltry 1mbps....it's about .21 at the moment.... Regards, Gixer
