Gee.
Went for a stroll around one of my permissions tonight and came across this fox worrying sheep on the neighbouring farm (which I dont have permission). Called him in onto my ground and gave him a barrel of 46g 3's in the head at 20yrds. Showed the landowner who was chuffed I got one for him. Going to pay a visit to the neighbouring farm tomorrow to let them know I called in a fox off their land and that they have a dead lamb in their field. Never know, may get more ground out of it which would help my FAC application as its massive. Edited May 20, 2012 by Gee.

Speak to the farmer and let them talk about their stock; ask when they are lambing again etc! TEH
Frenchieboy
Well done Gee! You did the right think with some quick thinking and calling. Definitely speak to the neighbouring farmer. I am a firm believer in the fact that if you do a good job for one farmer then the word soon spreads round!

Gee.
Well, popped around to the neighbouring farm to explain what had happened and the farmers actual words were....'cant you leave it there as bait and get a few more?'. Needless to say ive now got permisson for all his land .......but, as it turned out it wasn't his land after all that I called the fox off, turns out it was another neighbouring farmer. So, doing my bit I went and notified this other farmer that they had a dead lamb in their top field and what had happened. Farmers words 'fantastic, get em all' needless to say that I now have permission for that farm too (600acres). Overall bloody good result off one fox, 2 new permissions
