Blunderbuss
I had a huge fallow buck pass within a metre of the front of my bike when I was "making progress" on my way to work very early one morning. My field of view was filled with antlers and before I'd even thought of touching the brake lever he was gone, not that it would have done any good. My heart was beating out of my chest, and my clackervalve was working overtime. As I slowed down to pull over and compose myself, I saw 3 or 4 more pass behind me in the mirrors. Had he crossed a tenth of a second later I'd have been dead for sure :( I've also hit pheasants a couple of times on the bike but the worst was when one hit me in the chest. I wasn't even going very fast, but I felt as if someone had swung a sack of potatoes into me. By some fluke I managed to stay on, but I was winded and seeing stars for a good 5 minutes afterwards and had some nice purple bruises to show for it. Again, a bit of luck - I reckon a few inches higher in the face and it might have broken my neck. Bloody wildlife, it's all trying to kill you, Al Qaida suicide stylee
jason kaye
As it's not in the uk ,I'd say it was 85kph not mph, still lucky to stay on though. Jase.
Sharpshooter.123
Ooh could have been messy. I had a pigeon hit me on the hand and break lever at over a ton. 2 broken fingers and broken lever and a mashed up bird on my lap. £600 leathers covered in pigeon blood and guts!!!
