demonwolf444
two sisters who have "grown accustomed to it" from the EWW stage, with my youngest sister who would repulse at anything dead, to the intriegued stage where she would try bits and finally to the stage where she is genuinely interested and hands on skinned a rabbit and tanned its skin, then cooked it ( RESULT!) older sister was dead against it, she was never against the animal bit, but always the gun bit, anyway so i got everything out one saturday afternoon when everyone was sat around bored and got my two sisters shooting tin cans at 15 yards, making them realise the skill and reward in shooting, that helped them realise the need for me to practice to ensure clean kills, and that if they were used properly they were safe. Mums always tolerated it, took her to the game fair and made her shoot blackpowder and nitro, which she actually enjoyed allot, and so i dont think she minds at all. My dads a full book, he wont listen or learn, he doesnt like guns, he wont try, he wouldnt partake, except in some blackpowder shooting which i think he enjoys for the history of it. Its hard, but its got to the stage where noone minds in my family now.
Reece
I have a relative who lives down south who is a bit of an anti, and their family is a bit as well. Never had any problems though. Though it is weird that they like grey squirrels and I go out trapping and shooting grey squirrels on a daily basis. NickS
My daughter is vegan.... She is old enough to make that choice and I am old enough to make mine. We understand and respect each other's point of view and do not try to change it or force our's on each other. When she is over for a Sunday roast, she is happy with the veg and a nut thingy which means more beef, lamb, pork etc for me. It is tough being Dad sometimes but someone has to eat it Nick
