Caisterboy
The only grounds you have within any type of striking distance are Findon (Cove Bay) which is open Fridays and Sat & Sun only, Dell Glenlivet which is out at by Tomintoul both run by real gents and great quality targets. After them you're down to Auchterhouse near Dundee. If you like a challenge then the Dell sorts out most including really good AA class shooters - its broken me a couple of times cos i'm barely average Gerald is a lovely fella and he'll take you round. He also has Skeet, Compac and Dtl/ABT if you like but the DTL is a bit dodgy at times as its half way up the hill so when the wind blows you get some very interesting birds to say the least My link Hope it helps Caisterboy

Caisterboy
No problem - You might have to do some chasing upstream for the salmon 'cos the waters are up and i would guess they've been able to scoot up river this year and are not in the usual lower holding pools. You may want to contact Gerald at Dell Glenlivet anyway as he also has a stretch of the Deveron running through his farm, so he also does fishing - you could get the best of both then

humperdingle
Seal's Cove - Not far from Stonehaven - Absolutely stunning surroundings, with a fantastic "Edge of the cliff" stand, overlooking the cove. Quite beautiful!

Cheers Hi Yep i would say that 50 mins to an hour would get you there - about 30 miles-ish(?). Up through Tomintoul then across on the B1936. Would be a lovely drive too on a good day. On a bad day you'll see b***ar all Would be about the same time across to Seals Cove at Findon just south of Aberdeen. Both the guys who run the shoots are cracking fellas who'll make you welcome. But Dell Glenlivet on a good days weather is absolutely stunning and is generally the tougher shoot. Neither do food but will offer you a cuppa, so take some sarnies Pleased i could help for once Caisterboy
