Killer
I’ve finely decided to have the CZ shortened, now what would be the recommended length to go for please. At the moment its 20 inch Edited June 16, 2012 by Killer
peek-at
Many CZ's are 16 inch which are a useful length for using from a vehicle and still dead accurate. Haven't come across any shorter than this myself
jgguinness
I have a CZ452 .22lr. Mine is currently 16" (factory silhouette) and I'm thinking of getting mine shortened to around 12.5- 13". Ive read many topics on this and apparently it makes no difference. A local guy with a good reputation has quoted me £60 for a shorten, re-crown and re-thread. Dekers
This is PERSONAL, my last WMR was 15.75" and whilst it worked fine it didn't feel fine to me. My new one I had cut to 19", I'm happy! If you must shorten it then I suggest no less than 16", if that doesn't work for you then you can always take a bit more off it, adding and inch or two back on becomes a problem if you go too short! jamiedenny
16", mine is factory length and its perfect. Any shorter and you might find the front end doesn't have enough weight.
