gunboot
Can anyone recommend the best suited pellet or my AA S410 carbine .177? Cheers!
mickmep
been using air arms diablo field 4.52 in my tdr, which seem to be ok. they seem to be well made and of good quality. only had it a couple of weeks and havent tried anything else in it yet, and only using it for lsr. use bisley magnums in rapid for bunny bashing though, prefer the heavier pellets for that. secretagentmole
I have found that Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums work well in the various .177 pcp rifles I have owned. They are a heavy pellet, 10.5 grain, superb quality (not found one bad one yet), come in a tin that has a screw on lid so no pellets all over everything as well as being one of the cheaper quality pellets. Happy! But as we know what suits one gun may not suit another so be prepared to try a few different pellets!
Clubshot
For Target Shooting - Defiant 4.50 Head Size @ 7.50 Grains Hunting - Exterminator 9.50 Grains with a 4.50 Head Size BOB/R

SakoQuad
AA Field have been erratic in all my rifles. Once weighed a tin - not one weighed the 8.5gn on the tin. Always produced 2 or 3 flyers out of 10. I know folk who would use nothing else though. Exterminators for hunting - excellent (though have been told they are no good by many, some who never used them!), lighter hunting or target pellet of choice for me is H&N Field & Target Trophy and for target shooting indoors Falcon Accuracy Plus (too light for hunting IMO) all shot really well in my .177 guns.
