Graham M
Don’t think that you will get a .17hmr for fox, although you may get it for rabbits and the “Occasional†fox. Having said that, I have .17hmr for fox on my ticket, but that was because the FEO wouldn’t pass my land for my .243 and offered me the .17hmr as an alternative for foxes. Makes one wonder who makes up these rules and how they are interpreted. G.M.

Good luck with getting .17 for fox. I was told by my FO that .17 wasnt deemed suitable for fox. He only granted me mine as i said i needed it for long range crow/rabbit shooting! .22 cz452 sillouette/sako mod/simmons 3.5-10x50wtc slots for 17hmr/shottie any for sale out there

The answer to your question is that if the slot is still unused at renewall time you <may> loose it, but that would depend on how long you have before your ticket is up for renewal
