Yep - There is a big, big difference between our wildfowling and some of the American duck/goose shooting. If they could use a .50cal Browning machine gun then they would. Yoggy Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 I was lucky to go `duck hunting` in Washington State 12 years ago. It was an experience I`ll never forget. They combine duck hunting and conservation to a level we can only dream about. It was truely awesome. They were the nicest blokes you could ever meet.The duck shooting was mindblowing, and I thought I was pretty decent at calling ducks. But these lads must have webbed feet!!. Their calling skills were second to none.Ok, we all call the Yanks, but when they do something they put their all into it. Best 2 weeks shooting I`ve ever had. Reabrook Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 I've been over there as well and had a great time with great people who really knew their stuff. I'd go back again tomorrow given the chance it was that good. However some of the videos/DVD's are appalling over kill and I personally believe they are in some way responsible for the attitude and expectation of some of the young (er) fowlers I encounter today.
