NIGHT SEARCHER
what do you guy think of the air arms s200 want a pcp for hunting rabbits and pigeons just want to know what you think would be a good pcp gun for about 500 poujd cheers Air arms S200 the MK1 two peace stock looked like a Kids gun. The MK2 looks a lot better and are a very good gun but the 10 shot mag conversion is £70 and the gun is a bit expensive for a unregulated air rifle. They are a light and easy to handle Rifle. See my Reply to your other post on BSA ultra and .177 for pigeon and rabbits.
secretagentmole
Better an S200 than an Ultra, they have around the same shot count, they also do not have that damned stupid MMC and switch on the side of the action (the switch is prone to breaking)! halight
Iv just picked up a secondhand air arms s200 MK1, I paid £200 for it. They are very light and easy to use. Also very easy to get use to using them. Remember with a PCP you will need a pump or a divers bottle to fill the rifle up with. This will be an extra cost that you need to take account of. You can buy a new pump for around £120-150 mark. If you would be willing to buy secondhand then you would get a lot more gun for your money. Just something to think about
remy 700
I prefer s200 to the ultra , but both are very good hunters imo
bruno22rf
S200 is still one of the best pcp's ever built-the mnk1 is an ugly unwieldy looking beast until you mount a scope and put the gun to your shoulder-shot count is not brilliant but they tend to hold their zero so not much faffing around each time you take the gun out.If AA made a longer air cylinder to increase the shot count,or a reg,I think the gun would outsell all others in the price range-try one in .177 flavour and if you dont like it and you have the money buy the S410. karpman
Get a mk 2 and never look back sleek two piece stock, barrel band and deadly accurate. The mk 1 was great floating barrel. The mk 2 slightly refined stock and barrel band. The mk 3 famous for being set about 10.5 ftlb 1 piece stock. They kind of just lost it for me there, the two piece stock defined the s200 for me and stood it out from the crowd. Superb rifles much loved by many Karpman

jamiedenny
+1 Ultra for me . The S200 is fab and I have nearly purchased one a couple of times but by the time you add the mod for a multi shot its more expensive than the ultra with absolutely no benefit. roughcoat
S200 their so good I bought one in each flavour absolute tack driver's. People moan about shot count I have never emptied one out hunting,if I did I'd have to take a big sack to carry the game home "guaranteed" if you can shoot of course. They are small but light so no worries carrying it all day,in outhouses and barn's they come into their own because of their pointability.
