T-Bolt94
I am looking for a low cost lamping kit but one that is decent...I know I am asking a lot for nothing, but I would preferably like a hand held kit and not an UltraFire torch. Don't really want to spend more than say 40-50£ Thanks

T-Bolt94
Thanks, this isn't really what I am after I don't think. Would much prefer a decent 2nd hand or new hand held set up due to increased battery life, and range while giving a tight beam.

You didn't read that thread very well because you have unwittingly contradicted yourself I know it's a bit of a drawn out learning curve but it IS worth getting stuck into it with a cup of tea and some dunking biscuits mate. T-Bolt94
You didn't read that thread very well because you have unwittingly contradicted yourself I know it's a bit of a drawn out learning curve but it IS worth getting stuck into it with a cup of tea and some dunking biscuits mate. I spent a while reading it but I think the thread needs tidied up a bit as there are a lot of posts repeated in different words and its somewhat hard to follow. I have fairly good electronics knowledge due to projects made to win national competitions organised by some of the industries leading companies and what is stated might be very correct and they do in fact out perform other devices but before parting with cash I would like to see some evidence. So that is probably why I am looking to stick to the more tried and tested methods. If however, evidence shows different I will happily becoming more forthcoming to the idea and would be interested in trialling some. If anyone has videos or photographs of them in operation in the field it would help the thread to link them, I may have overlooked images already there and if so I apologise.
