MC
Well guys, after months of deliberation and drooling over the adverts, and then having a go with Munglers tool at Braintree. I have bitten the bullet. I am now the proud owner of a 32" barrel Blaser F3. The wood on the stock is OK, nothing outstanding the only one I saw today with outstanding wood on it was a 28" barrels one. It is one of the newer breed with the darker coating on the action and came with a case and 5 chokes. Albeit I don't have a 3/4, but I have 2 1/4's so that will do me fine. Pictures aren't that good I will try and get some better ones. I'm off tomorrow to see what it is like. Cheers Martin

Mungler
Exchellente - a fine and discerning choice. Essex Gun? I might tap them up for a commission. The quality will be remembered long after the price is forgotten. Watch your scores go up now.

Mungler
Get yourself 500 of the most expensive cartridges you can lay your hands on and go mad - it's good for the soul.
MC
Just back from the first outing with the Blaser, I shot 34/50 which should have been better. I had 4 premature shots due to the trigger pulls, they are just so light. I was pleased overall with the gun and my score. It was a clay shoot that I had never shot at before, and high gun was only 39/50. I was also using up my black gold cartridges that I don't particularly like. There was also the wind, and about 20 other lame excuses. Cheers Martin

Cheers Martin the triggers take some getting used to dont they I dont like black golds at all, tried some and found them heavy recoiling and no better at breaking long birds than blue diamond. Good score for a first outing any how martin, well done. Shot a 26ex30 today to get me into a shoot off, really nasty shoot off target, managed a 6 and my opponent managed a 5, so i am chuffed. apbuild
Well done both of you. Had a better turnout at my shoot todaythan expected. Had to split up into different squads, sort clays out etc and only managed a 31 ex 50 myself. Hey-Ho, the sun was shining. Rob.
MC
Hey-Ho, the sun was shining. And that is really all it is about. Yes Nick those triggers are going to take some getting used to. I am going to try again tomorrow at the Fenland Game Fair, They have a clay snooker set up which I am going to try. Nice one getting into the shoot off Nick, Well done. MC
Well I shot the Clay snooker about as well as I play real snooker. What an abissmal day, I shot all 6 red clays and missed all the colours, then on going through the colours I shot them all bar one with the second barrel. So I fininshed on 26points. I then stood and watched the Rainbow flush, where you get 20 coloured clays and you must not shoot the orange one. You only call for the first pair and the rest come when the gun is closed. As they were all going away clays and there was a cash prize I thought I was in with half a chance. How wrong I was, i finished on 6/20 Anyone want a Blaser?
