Bloke
Prices seem about average. I buy pistol/carbine ammo there, the younger bloke is really friendly, the older guy (His dad, I think) is also really friendly, but has a bit of a rep for not suffering fools or ******** artists - if you don't know something, just tell him and he will help you as much as he can, go in bragging and he will let you dig your own hole! Lots of knowledge there and sounds like ++++ more experience of game and big game shooting.I don't thing you will go far wrong with proper old-fashioned gunshops like this. eastlincs
Well thats one reason i need a good shop to go, as its my first shotgun im not going to pretend i know what im on about, i havent a clue so i need a decent shop thats gonna help me get what fits and not fob me off with any old thing that they cant shift of the shelf. Also i dont want to be paying over the odds of course.

Bloke
Depends what you want, they had full gun racks last Sunday when I went, but how many were shotguns I don't know...

eastlincs
Went in today. Haven't bought a gun yet but they have probably saved me £500 he showed me a few and told me about the fit etc... Told me if he was me he would be looking at lanbers and not berettas or Brownings said there's no point as its my first. Which really I knew anyway but when somebody who is selling you them tells you this you listen lol.
fieldwanderer
I get on really well with them and must've spent thousands in there over the years. I'd recommend them. Prices are usually slightly under the going rate but it is worth keeping your wits about you as occasionally that's not the case.

bicykillgaz
Colin (dad) and Chris (youngish fair haired lad) are both good to deal with and really nice guys too There generally a bit cheaper when ever I've rang for a price on guns or ammo/carts and always happy to help/advise where every they can, you'll not go wrong if you can make them you're usual shop. 1066
Another thumbs up for Forest Lodge Guns - I only visit about once a year as I have a daughter who lives in that area (about 30 miles away really but I always try and make time for a stop on the way) They stock a good range of general shooting supplies and reloading gear and I have always found them very pleasant to deal with. 0145wirbelwind
Did the opposite to what I planned to do, bought a beretta silver pigeon sporter Not a lot wrong with that. Beretta never seem to lose money . I had a 686 , i shot the gun for 12 years . When i PX the gun for my new gun i got more than paid for it
Landy
When I lived in Lincoln and started shooting Collin`s advise was the best I could wish for. Overtime I have purchased gun's and ammo all at a reasonable price. For what its worth warm, friendly and wont rip you off.
