saab6110
Hi All, I have just applied for my FAC and I have Type 2 Diabetes. Will this be a problem for my application?
pigeonblasterian
No it is not as though you are insulin dependant.Even if you were and you control it why should it stop you getting a fac.
saab6110
Thats good, was a bit worried about it. Only on 2 tablets a day and watch what I eat.
bedwards1966
It won't be a problem. It's not going to have an effect on your mental stability, nor it is going to make you dangerous in any other way.
webber
Ensure that you state the fact on the application form, but the condition won't affect your application. I've been diabetic for many years, its never affected any of my applications. webber

kent
Hi All, I have just applied for my FAC and I have Type 2 Diabetes. Will this be a problem for my application? No especialy not type2, the damage it creates is physical damage over time not passing out etc. I was diagnosed a few years back and it aint an issue- indeed the thing is as you shouldn't realy drink as it effects your sugar levels and metformin it could be seen as a good thing

saab6110
I've only had it about 2½ years but I have it under control. Levels are normally good and doctor seems pleased. Now its just the long wait for the FAC interview.
Robin128
Don't you bring it up as an issue and don't dwell on it...everyone has medical problems from time to time and most have them under control.
