rabbiter Posted August 25, 2012 Report Share Posted August 25, 2012 ive got an awful noise somewhere on the osf of my GV,when i turn steering wheel to the right,either moving or stationary,its like a creeking noise,and going over even slightly uneven road it sounds like a dry spring thats the best way i can describe it,any ideas from other GV owners,any help would be great thanks,doing my head in....DAZ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(it shouldn't make this noise if everything is turned off, so try moving the steering without turning the car on). rabbiter Posted October 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 ok guys just an update,incase anyone else gets a problem like this,i changed the sway bar bushes,noise still there,so changed the sway bar link,noise still there,then chaged the lower ball joint(had to get a full wishbone as the ball joints are captive)noise now gone so after all of that it was the balljoint,now i can go and lamp without all that bleeding squeeking and clunking,lol.....DAZ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
