anser2
Hi welcome to England. I guess you know we do not have a free shooting system in England like the USA, but there are a number of wildfowling clubs you may be able to join , but many will have made their membership for the comming season by now but a few will still have membership available. I would suggest you join BASC our equilivant of DU. They will be able to give you contact information on wildfowling clubs and have a wildfowling permit booklet to show where you can get day permits without joining a club. They will also give you a lot of information on wildfowling laws and traditions. In Scotland there is a lot of free coastal shooting in many areas are and their many goose guides that will offer a days goose\duck shooting for a price. Kes
Hello and welcome. Try some inland duck shooting - there are plenty of bought days where duck shooting is on the agenda. Have a chat at the local pub and see if you can join a local shoot for a days shooting. There are plenty of days for sale where duck and geese are on the agenda. If you are looking for truly 'wild' shooting, look up Goose guides scotland /shetland. Immerse yourself in the 'British way' of shooting and let us know how it compares with what you are used to in the States, good or bad, it would be very interesting. Yoggy
Hi mate, welcome to the UK. You have quite a few wildfowling clubs both coastal and inland within easy reach of you. Your nearest club would be probably Ely Wildfowlers which is an inland fowling club. They have some super shooting which mainly consists of Wigeon,Mallard, and Teal. They`re a very friendly club who I`m sure would welcome you as a member. Feel free to PM me if you require anymore info.
