I grew up in the Regan Thatcher love fest and with all English speaking media (and films) portraying the Yanks as the good guys.

As i have got older I recognise that there is no 'good guy' country and that any country will behave as poorly and corruptly as it's neighbour or as it sees fit.

Distilling it down further, you can't trust any politician of any nationality - despite their colour, clothes or language they are all the same on the inside.

The hole in the ozone layer was created by cfcs used as propellants and refrigerants in fridges and aerosols. Having been in new zealand a few years ago, it was freezing in Christchurch but we still got sunburn.

The hole is now just about closed i believe.
