Night blaster
Hi, Could someone point me the direction of advice already posted as a can't seem to find any! I am looking to buy a .17 hmr, I like the synthetic or laminate versions I have a .22 Ruger so have looked at the m77/17 which I like. Could you give me your views and alternatives, If anyone is looking to sell one let me know. Cheers N B

hillmouse
77/17 is a lovely bit of kit and even better with a trigger kit installed and tuned up. I use one with an 8x56 swarovski PFand it is fantastic. Best alternative would be a CZ. My choice would be the thumbhole laminate. V8 90
I have a CZ 452 Hmr in a Boyds Laminate thumb hole stock as my day set up And Browning T Bolt Hmr with a synthetic stock as a dedicated Night Vision set up I think the CZ 452 has the edge accuracy wise due to having a trigger kit fitted, but the Browning is better for my NV as it's a straight pull action & has weaver bases fitted. Dougy
I have the 77/17 grey heavy laminate. It was a pain to start, but trigger kit and barrel float with the right bullets it shoots well. Selling See what the hornets like first, I may sell but not this side of Christmas. Night blaster
what price range are you thinking? Haven't decided on a price really as some s/h guns come with other items bolted on, It will all depend on what's included, I would go with about £500-900including glass and other accessories. I just want to buy right 1st time, and get a decent gun that will hopefully last & shoot well. Cheers NB
