lumpy
It would be a good idea to test the glow plug's before you replace them as they might not need changing (there not a service item that need replacement like spark plug's). philm
how do you test them mate You can test and get a reading through them, it doesn't mean they work, for the price of them, change them. Winters on it's way.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MITSUBISHI-SHOGUN-PAJERO-L200-GLOW-PLUG-/120988133264?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c2b746790
al4x
Ok basically you take the inter cooler off then you can see the plugs. Undo the small nuts on the rail that connects them and take that off then you just remove the glow plugs. Testing can be done by touching the top with a feed from the positive of the battery while touching on the metal of the engine. Hold with pliers if it gets hot then it works. I've had 2 l200's now and both have had plugs not last that long simple to change as soon as they get a little slow to start
lumpy
As above, I usually use jump leads connect earth lead to body of plug (the nut bit) and just hold positive lead onto the terminal (small thread on end), plug should glow red within seconds, dont hold it there for to long and try not to burn yourself
