Why did Bush sit there in that school when he was told that a plane flew into the Towers, and still sat there when he was told about the second one. Why were the Bin-Ladden family flown out of the States the following day by the CIA If there was OIL in Zimbabwe Bush would be in there like a shot. Mugabe has done everything and more than Saddam did. What happend on 9/11 was awfull, but what Bush & Blair are doing is just as wrong. 3 years on since we started the War in Iraq, and it is worse than ever. digger Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 12, 2006 sorry,i really dont buy this "war on terrorism" line.as a country we have been in many wars,some just ( both world wars and those against the french ) and some not so just ( the boer war,the zulu wars). the global fight against those wishing to cause loss of life through bombings etc whilst hiding behind islam is not a war. in war there are defined enemies,in this battle against terrorists they could well be passing you by in the street or picking their kids up from school the same time as you and i. i dont pretend to have the answers but i wish to god i did,then id feel ive bought my daughters into a world where human life is valued above oil. im not usually such a miserable *** Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Off the top of my head: Vietnam, Korea, Operation Ajax (Iran), Panama, bombing of several indochinese countries Cambodia and Laos, Guatemala and the Bay of Pigs and tried regime change in Chile.
