Regardless of the type of policy you are looking for, my guidance is always to get a copy of the policy wording, or at least the Key Facts document to help you decide.

 

The Key Facts document will tell you the main exclusions on the policy such as:

Any excess you have to pay

Any activities that may not be covered

If the policy will only respond if no other policy exists

Age restrictions

Geographical restrictions

And so on

 

Cheap polices always look tempting, after all we all want to save a few quid, but remember they are cheap for a reason!

This subject has been covered loads of times recently.

 

Everyone will have a different opinion, if you want advice, support and the backing of a major shooting body plus insurance then go with one of the major organisations.

 

I go with just insurance and Blasers post above is the company I've chosen. Great cover for the price.
