This happened to mine, turns out the 'O' ring needs to be put on before the barrel is attached not after. Bugged me for months, I was going by the youtube videos but 80% of them are wrong. Try it it, this just might be the case ATB Hedd As hedd-wyn says worth checking that the O ring is in the right place, as I was almost caught out with the u tube vids, but luckally asked on here for confirmation. if the O ring is in the wrong place some one said it would give you the play in the fore end of a couple of mm.
