drive a 2005 cherokee (kj) 2.8 crd.. nice car.. goes anywhere.. mine had the rear axle issues at 35k.. VERY, VERY expensive repair job but luckily was under warranty..

Very comfy, I use it as my daily drive but I have also lifted her too. Not the most economical vehicle.. £110 to fill from completely empty and you will get 350-380 miles out of that! I have had 450 miles out of the same tank at a steady 65-70 on long runs..

Other than the axle and a dodgy injector at 25k and a faulty sensor@ 40k, she hasn't let me down since and has now done 80 odd k.

Quick and powerful.. worth thinking about a re-map!

I keep thinking about selling it but always change my mind... will struggle to part with her! Just wish she was a TAD more frugal on the fuel!

My only real criticisms would be the appaling lack of boot and storage space..... there is virtually none.. the boot space is pitiful and there is very limited storage in the cabin. When the rear seats are down, great but then you only have 2 seats.

Engine noise is sometimes intrusive... it's not the quietest of cars by a very long way, verging on the agricultural, as is the actual driving experience... agricultural...

Still... I love mine!

If I had my time over again or if I could afford to replace her it would be either a Navara or a Disco 3/4.. It will be one of these when the time finally comes but, barring any real disasters she should go for another 3,4 5 years for me!

I have the 53 plate with 3.7 petrol. I love it for me and a couple people or me and the dogs plus gear. It drives great. Just don't ask me about fuel.
