Lancs Lad
my girlfreind has brought me a days pheasant shooting but not got the right sort of kit to ware realy i am after a pair of troucers well cords or mole skins if any of u have a cheap pair for sale would be intrested dont want to spend to much cus i shall only be going the once get down to M&S. You can get some green chords.....think mine were 29.99. Perfectly acceptable... You can pick up moleskins for 20 quid if you have a search around. What size are you. I was invited on a driven day on the wentworth country estate. nearest thing to shooting clothing I had was real tree, or a ghillie suit.................with face paint.............. Quick trip to marks, a pair of chords. a general cheque shirt and a pheasant tie. shooting body warmer for about a tenner and cap. The guy that took me was very happy about the way that I turned out............ I was given another invite.............and shot again, this time in breeks and jacket..........out of respect for my host I thought that I should make a bit more "effort". He was very impressed............Im waiting for an invite to a boar shoot next time he is in the UK.
Mungler
Go for it and enjoy yourself. I understand that the gentlemen's clothing adverts in the back of the Daily Mail are what you are looking for. Stay away from the fur lined zip up boots - tempting as they may be, they are not the waterproof ones.
