turbo33
Had planned a day out with my lad and Bluebarrels today on some rape that had a few birds on it. The rain put paid to any plans we had as it was reletless through the night and all morning. By 2pm, it finally stopped. Trying to make something out of the washout day, my lad and I chucked minmal gear in the truck, knowing there was a 20 min journey and by the time we set up, there would be barely an hour before it all stopped. We hurredly set up the nets and decoys on a very poor field of rape. I had noticed a few birds feeding there in the late afternoon so there was half a chance. The birds decoyed almost immediatly, and really well. We had just about an hour, anda few minutes past 4pm the tap turned off. We finished up on 29, pretty much half each, all picked.
