red_stag88
What does it matter, lets just leave it at "It's a bit of a b*gger when it happens"
Teal
What does it matter, lets just leave it at "It's a bit of a b*gger when it happens" Just I didn't want anyone killing anyone by dropping a book out from their house to see if it hit the ground before a coin did The only reason I had to show the working was because you said my original point was incorrect- that I doubted a 2lb pheasant would reach terminal velocity. rjimmer
I shot a pigeon yesterday and it did not show obvious signs of being hit, it must have been near the edge of the range, Or edge of your pattern.
squirrelhunter
I had the pleasure of shooting a pigeon from 20 yrds that i could have sworn i must have missed as the pigeon sat there for a couple of seconds before flapping twice and gliding off , the pigeon glidded in a semi circle and landed at my feet stone cold dead. The pellet was in the standard chest position and had penetrated a good distance inside the Bird, it seemed to have been dispatched in a rather strange but then again graceful and peaceful manner...most of my others just fall to the ground covered in blood and feathers...
