Actionpigeons
Went for a cpl of hrs roost shooting tonight. Most of the birds were full of Hawthorn berries, one that I opened was full of corn and Hawthorn berries. It was getting a bit dark for the last picture sorry not very clear. JDog
Hawthorn berries in pigeons crops are normal at this time of year but the mix of berries and drilled corn is not as farmers are having to drill very late into the autumn. If you follow the flight line back to the newly sown field you may get a decent days decoying.

I know berries are normal this time of the year, and I have had a lot of good days not far from the wood on stubble. take a peep at my other post. I don't decoy threw November preferring to roost shoot until they get onto the rape around me..
